The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has announced that registration for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination will commence on January 26 and end on February 28 across approved Computer-Based Test centres nationwide.
JAMB Registrar, Professor Ishaq Oloyede, disclosed this in Lagos during a meeting with state Commissioners for Education, noting that the sale of UTME application ePINs would begin ahead of the registration window, running from January 19 to February 26.
He added that the option to register for the mock examination would close on February 16, while Direct Entry application sales would open on March 2 and end on April 25.
Oloyede stated that CBT centres would be monitored live from JAMB headquarters, warning that centres failing monitoring requirements risk invalidation and non-payment.
He also stressed that underage candidates’ results would only be released after a full evaluation process, while reiterating that candidates must be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2026, except under strict waiver conditions.
