Nigerian TikToker Hamzat Habeeb Adelaja, popularly known as Peller, has reacted angrily to criticism from TVC News anchors over his previous comments about Nigerian civil servants.

In a viral video, the influencer questioned whether he should acquire the media station, sparking widespread online reactions.

Peller escalated the controversy by directly calling out a female anchor who had previously criticised him during a panel discussion.

He alleged that she frequently talks about him for attention and threatened that if he ever owned the station, she would be dismissed.

The TikToker also made further controversial remarks, including a threat of physical confrontation upon returning to Nigeria, saying he would “slap” the anchor at the TVC office.

He defended his earlier comments about the Maldives, insisting the destination is expensive and challenging the station to sponsor his critic for a visit.

His statements have generated intense backlash online, with many users condemning the threats and others debating influencer-media tensions in Nigeria’s digital space.
