Dr. Deji Adeleke, billionaire businessman and father of Afrobeats singer Davido, has addressed the renewed paternity claims linking his son to a young girl, Anu Adeleke.
The allegation, made by an Ibadan-based woman, Ayo Labinjo, resurfaced after an Instagram account allegedly managed on the child’s behalf called for another DNA test, seeking clarity on her paternity.
Reacting to the fresh demand, Davido maintained that multiple DNA tests had already been conducted, all of which returned negative results, insisting he is not the child’s father.
Backing his son, Dr. Adeleke dismissed reports circulating online as misleading, stressing that scientific evidence has already settled the matter.
He accused investigative journalist Kemi Olunloyo of fuelling the controversy and misleading the public.
According to him, the DNA results clearly confirm that the child is not a member of the Adeleke family, urging the public to put the issue to rest.
