Rivers Lawmakers Pledge to Continue with Fubara’s Impeachment Process

Members of the Rivers State House of Assembly have announced that they will continue with the impeachment of Governor Siminalayi Fubara.

The declaration came on Friday during a press conference in Port Harcourt.

The four lawmakers, who had also previously opposed the move, have reversed their position and now reaffirmed their support for the impeachment of both Rivers State Governor Fubara and his deputy, Prof. Ngozi Odu.

Speaking at the press briefing, the lawmakers accused Fubara of showing no remorse over the allegations brought against him by the assembly.
