The Board said the move is intended to ensure a calm and spiritually focused environment throughout the holy month. It added that a date for resumption of activities, especially ahead of Eid festivities, would be communicated in due course.
According to the agency, the decision aligns with its statutory responsibility to supervise and regulate entertainment-related activities in the state. Stakeholders were urged to adhere strictly to the order in line with the law establishing the Board.
The statement also included prayers for divine grace, asking Allah to grant residents good health and peace as they observe Ramadan, and to bless the state with mercy and prosperity during the sacred period.
