The Nigerian-British Lawmaker, Kemi Badenoch has recently come under attack by Nigerians for openly endorsing the exploration of Fossil fuel in the UK.

Kemi Badenoch made her intentions known after a meeting with the US president, Donald Trump, which she has posted on her “X” page. Reacting to her post, Ugulu Conceptions, an “X” user says “it is no more climate change, you have gone back to promoting fossil fuels.” This is coming from the background that Kemi had always been an advocate of green environment but is now drifting into energy exploration, an activity deemed as polluting the atmosphere.

In another reaction, Ago Udo, a Nigerian, warned the lawmaker to be mindful of “draconian government”. Despite the above reactions, Kemi remains optimistic on her move to generating “billions of the British Pounds” for the UK government.
