A woman has sparked online outrage after recounting how she allegedly lost her entire life savings, estimated at ₦40 million, to a man she met on Tinder.
The lady said the man, identified as 46-year-old Bankole Babalola from Ondo State, posed as a single father involved in construction.
Over six months, she claimed she loaned him money, bought him a Samsung phone, sold her iPhone 15 Pro Max, and even revamped his Instagram account.
Despite her efforts, he allegedly never reciprocated, and when she asked for proof of his construction projects, he reportedly sent images downloaded from Google.
She accused him and his wife, who posed as his younger sister of running a coordinated scamming scheme, leaving her broke and homeless.
Sharing her story, she warned: “If you ever feel stupid, just know that someone trusted the wrong person and lost everything,” prompting thousands of reactions online.
