Obi and other party stakeholders were said to have come under attack shortly after arriving at the location.
Confirming the development earlier, the National Coordinator of the Obidient Movement, Yunusa Tanko, said the incident happened after the group returned from the ADC secretariat, where they had formally received the 2023 Labour Party governorship candidate in Edo State, Olumide Akpata, into the party.
