The Adeleke family hosted a star-studded engagement and traditional wedding ceremony in Ede, Osun State, as Ibukunoluwa, daughter of the late Senator Isiaka Adeleke and Adenike, was joined in marriage to Ibukunoluwakitan Feyijimi.
One of the most emotional moments of the celebration occurred when billionaire businessman Adedeji Adeleke, father of Afrobeats star Davido, stepped in to perform the symbolic role of father of the bride.
Acting as the family patriarch, he formally handed over his niece to her husband during the traditional rites, declaring, “You can see she is in one piece, beautiful. I hand over my beautiful daughter to you, in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.”
The bride smiled throughout the ceremony as family members and guests celebrated the union. Adedeji also offered prayers for the couple and later entertained guests by singing.
Musician Yinka Ayefele provided live entertainment, while the groom made a grand entrance alongside friends and his entourage.
The wedding reflected both family unity and continuity within the prominent Adeleke family.
