Senior pastor of Mountain of Liberation and Miracle Ministries, Dr Chris Okafor, has denied claims by a woman, identified as Chi Okafor, that she is his biological daughter, insisting the allegation is false and defamatory.
Speaking through his lawyer, Maxwell Opara, at a press conference in Owerri, the cleric demanded an immediate DNA test to determine the claim and challenged the woman to present any authentic DNA evidence already in her possession.
Okafor also called for a full retraction of all online and offline statements linking him to alleged paternity or abandonment, alongside a public apology to be published in two national newspapers.
According to his legal team, the claims amount to cyberbullying, criminal defamation and malicious impersonation, and have damaged the pastor’s reputation and ministry.
He further warned that failure to comply with these demands would result in legal action, while urging social media commentators to stop spreading what he described as unverified and false claims.
