Nigerian TikTok star Peller, whose real name is Habeeb Hamzat, has expressed strong disapproval of certain women’s content on the platform, calling it shocking and disrespectful.
Speaking on social media, he highlighted sexually suggestive videos created during TikTok challenges, asking rhetorically, “Who will marry you people? Are you m@d?”
Peller urged women to uphold self-respect, insisting that dignity and personal conduct earn respect.
“I will only respect women that respect themselves. Any woman doing rubbish on TikTok, wey no get family, if you mumu yourself, I no go respect you,” he stated.
He warned that inappropriate online behaviour could have lasting consequences, affecting societal perceptions, opportunities, and reputation, especially in a culture that values family.
His remarks have sparked debate about social media responsibility, youth influence, and the limits of creative freedom, generating both support and criticism across online communities.
