Social media commentator, VeryDarkMan, has sparked widespread reactions after publicly declaring support for former Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, ahead of his anticipated bid for the Kogi Central Senate seat against Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan.

In a post shared on Instagram, VeryDarkMan acknowledged Bello’s past controversies, including issues with the EFCC, but insisted the former governor has grown and deserves another opportunity.

“Everybody deserves a second chance,” he wrote, describing Bello as a leader who has worked on his flaws and become better over time.

He further argued that Bello is more experienced and qualified than Akpoti-Uduaghan, adding that her style of politics is too emotional.

His comments, which included remarks suggesting she should focus on family duties, have drawn criticism online.

VeryDarkMan concluded with strong endorsement, declaring, “God bless Yahaya Bello, incoming 2027!”
