A security operation on the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway has led to the apprehension of a commercial driver after human parts were allegedly found inside his vehicle.
The Oyo State Police Command confirmed the development on Saturday in a statement by its spokesperson, DSP Olayinka Ayanlade, who said the arrest followed a stop-and-search exercise conducted by operatives of the Federal Highway Patrol near Guru Maharaji Village.
During the operation, officers intercepted a commercial vehicle heading toward Osogbo from Lagos.

“Investigation has commenced to determine the origin and intended purpose of the recovered items, with investigative efforts extended beyond Oyo State to identify and apprehend all persons connected with the incident.
“The suspect will be charged to court upon conclusion of investigation,” the statement reads.
