Controversial singer Portable has revealed that he plans to return to school and complete his education, describing his inability to finish his studies at Kwara State Polytechnic as one of his biggest regrets.
Speaking in a preview of the Honest Brunch Podcast set for release on YouTube, the singer said financial hardship forced him to abandon his Business Administration programme after he could no longer afford the tuition fees.
He recalled selling sachet water while struggling to stay in school before eventually losing sponsorship and dropping out despite gaining admission through the institution’s indigene quota.
Portable said his academic journey remains unfinished and expressed confidence that he would one day return to earn his qualification.
Reflecting on his life, he noted that although he was once considered the least academically gifted in his family, he now supports his father financially.
He also advised young people not to abandon education, while stressing that success can come before completing a degree.
