A viral video has triggered intense reactions across social media after a lady openly criticised what she described as unrealistic financial expectations placed on men in today’s dating scene.
In the clip, she argued that modern relationships have become heavily driven by money, assets and social status.
According to her, men are now expected to be financially established before being considered worthy of love. She claimed that a man must own a house, a car and a thriving business to date a woman who may not be financially independent herself.
Salary earners, she added, are increasingly looked down on in relationships. The speaker further stated that men without wealth often face disrespect and rejection, regardless of character or faithfulness.
