Nigerian crossdresser Bobrisky has come to the defence of celebrity designer Luminee following widespread criticism over her relationship with actor Baba Ijesha, with whom she recently welcomed a child.
Speaking during an Instagram Live session, Bobrisky questioned those condemning the couple, including actress Nkechi Blessing and former BBNaija star Angel Smith, asking who gave them the right to judge another person’s life choices.
The social media personality insisted that Baba Ijesha should not be treated as less than human despite his controversial past.
The debate followed reports that Luminee had welcomed her first child with the actor, sparking mixed reactions online.
Nkechi Blessing reacted with surprise to the development and later defended her comments after facing backlash, stressing that none of her former partners had been linked to paedophilia.
Angel also expressed disappointment, questioning how a woman could choose to have a child with the actor.
Baba Ijesha was convicted in 2022 over the sexual assault of a minor and was released from prison in November 2025 after serving part of his sentence.
