Actress Regina Daniels has stirred social media reactions after unfollowing her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, and deleting his photos and videos from her Instagram page.
The development followed a series of public exchanges between the couple after Regina alleged she was facing harassment and domestic abuse.
In a viral clip shared last week, the actress was seen crying as she claimed she was no longer treated like a queen in her husband’s house.
Nwoko, in response, denied the allegations, attributing the tension to what he described as her “battle with drugs and alcohol abuse.”
He said his efforts to help her seek professional treatment were often resisted and further alleged that she assaulted domestic staff and damaged property.
Regina’s family, however, dismissed his claims. Her brother, Sammy West, accused Nwoko of assaulting her and called out online critics who mocked her situation.
Another sibling, Sweezzy, said there was no perfect marriage, while their younger sister, Destiny, posted photos of alleged injuries and denied reports of reconciliation.
The controversy intensified after Regina claimed that Nwoko ordered the arrest of her brothers.
In a post, she wrote that her sibling was “beaten like a criminal” by police officers and accused her husband of using his influence to intimidate her family.
The incident has sparked widespread reactions, with many fans expressing support for the actress and urging her to prioritise her safety, while others called for restraint until investigations are concluded.
