The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced that the 2025 Batch ‘C’ Orientation Course will kick off on Wednesday, 19th November, at camps across Nigeria.

Prospective corps members are expected to report to their assigned camps for registration and orientation activities.

Registration will continue until midnight on Friday, 21st November.

Due to limited capacity at the various camps, only a portion of the registered participants will be accommodated this batch, while others will be scheduled for the next exercise.

“The swearing-in ceremony is planned for Friday, 21st November, and the orientation course will end with a closing ceremony on Tuesday, 9th December,” said Caroline Embu, NYSC’s Director of Information and Public Relations.

The scheme has urged all corps members to complete registration within the set timeframe. She added that those unable to secure a place this time will be deferred to the subsequent batch.

Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, NYSC Director-General, advised corps members to prioritise safety while travelling to their camps.

“We encourage participants to avoid night journeys and take necessary precautions to ensure a safe arrival,” he said.

Call-up numbers for Batch ‘C’ members have been released according to registration order. NYSC said these numbers are essential for confirming placements and tracking registration progress ahead of orientation.

“Participants must adhere strictly to NYSC instructions and camp regulations,” Embu added. “Full engagement and attention to safety measures are vital for a successful orientation experience.”

The NYSC further assured corps members that official updates, including camp assignments and programme details, will be communicated through verified channels to guarantee transparency.

The orientation programme aims to prepare corps members for their service year by providing essential training, guidance, and readiness for postings across Nigeria. Participants are encouraged to comply with all rules and make the most of the activities offered during the orientation.
