A Nigerian woman has shared an emotional account of how a Muslim man risked his life to protect her Christian family during a violent crisis in Kaduna State years ago.

In a post shared on social media, the lady recalled that she was still a child when deadly attacks erupted in the area. According to her, a respected Hausa Muslim man sheltered her family inside his home despite not knowing them personally.

She revealed that armed attackers later arrived searching for Christians, but the man denied hiding anyone and reportedly swore in God’s name to convince them to leave, putting his own life at risk.

The woman said the memory stayed with her for years and inspired her to return to Kaduna as an adult to find the man, only to discover that he had died before her visit.

Her story has since touched many Nigerians, sparking conversations about humanity, courage and religious unity during times of violence.
