A Nigerian woman has raised alarm over the escalating insecurity in Kwara State, pleading for immediate intervention from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In a viral video shared on X (formerly Twitter), she described communities under siege, families being attacked, and residents living in constant fear.
She said, “Are we in Kwara State not part of Nigeria anymore? President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, please help us. They are killing us. Families are being kidnapped, homes invaded and wiped out.”
According to her, the assailants are heavily armed with weapons and petrol, raising questions about how they continue to operate unchecked. She added, “If everyone is gone, who will vote?”
The video has sparked widespread concern online, with Nigerians expressing sympathy and urging the government to take urgent action.
Citizens continue to call for strengthened security measures to protect lives and restore peace in Kwara.
