Nollywood actor Timini Egbuson has spoken candidly about why wealth was not enough to sustain his past relationship, despite his financial success.
In an interview with Jay On-Air TV, the actor admitted that he once believed money was the most important factor in keeping a relationship strong.
However, he said experience has taught him otherwise.According to Timini, financial provision alone cannot replace emotional presence, communication and genuine effort in a relationship.
He noted that if money is the only value a person brings, the relationship is bound to suffer.
The actor explained that his busy schedule and self-centred mindset at the time affected his ability to communicate effectively with his partner.
He added that emotional availability and active listening are essential, especially in today’s fast-paced lifestyle.
Timini further observed that in cities like Lagos, wealth is no longer impressive on its own, as many people are financially comfortable.
He concluded that his views on love have matured, reflecting personal growth and deeper self-awareness.
