Media personality Leo Dasilva has revealed that he survived two separate poisoning incidents at different stages of his life.

In a post shared on X, Dasilva recounted that the first incident occurred when he was about seven years old after consuming Egusi soup, while the second happened years later in 2012 when he ate Jollof rice and turkey.

He described the experiences as traumatic, noting that the first case came close to being fatal, as he experienced stomach pain but continued eating at the time.

Dasilva also alleged that the woman involved in the first incident ensured her own children avoided the meal he consumed.

According to him, the incidents shaped his awareness and perspective on food safety and personal vigilance.

His revelation has since drawn reactions online, with many expressing shock and sympathy over the incidents he described and the circumstances surrounding them, as discussions continue across social media platforms.
