A Nigerian man has sparked reactions online after expressing frustration over the latest increase in petrol prices, which he claimed has risen to ₦1,025 per litre.
In a video circulating on social media, the man lamented the rapid jump in the cost of fuel, noting that it was selling for about ₦900 per litre just a day earlier.
The sudden increase, he said, reflects the ongoing economic pressure many Nigerians are facing.
He pointed out that petrol used to sell for around ₦200 in the past before gradually climbing to ₦600, then ₦900, and now surpassing ₦1,000 per litre.
According to him, the continuous rise has made life increasingly difficult for citizens. The man also expressed anger that such increases are happening in an oil-producing country like Nigeria.
His emotional outburst has since generated widespread reactions online, with many Nigerians sharing similar concerns about the rising cost of living.
