Popular Nigerian evangelist and General Overseer of Zion Ministry, Ebuka Obi, has announced plans to introduce a new weekly fellowship, to be known as the Virgin Ministry, beginning in 2026.
The cleric revealed this during a recent church service, explaining that the initiative is designed to support and encourage young people who have chosen to remain virgins despite increasing social pressure and ridicule.
Obi said the fellowship will commence in January 2026 and will be held every Saturday.

He added that participation will be open to individuals aged 15 years and above who are virgins.
Obi told the worshippers: “People insult them and say things like, ‘You are a foolish girl, why are you keeping your virginity?’ or ‘Who virgin help?’
“We want to gather them together to pray and encourage those who are still virgins to keep it.
” In 2026, we will be launching a new program called Virgin Ministry. It will be exclusively for ladies who are virgins.”
