A Nigerian lady has shared a terrifying experience where a stranger’s warning on a bus reportedly saved her from falling into the hands of suspected kidnappers in Lagos.
She had travelled from Ibadan for what she believed was a legitimate job interview while seeking employment before completing her NYSC.
During the trip, the woman felt uneasy but continued. As the bus neared her destination, a fellow passenger shouted, “Don’t go there!” explaining that his cousin had gone missing after a similar job interview in the area.
Alarmed, she immediately returned to Ibadan. Later online research revealed the company had been flagged as scammers targeting job seekers.
Describing the incident as a miracle, she urged others to verify job offers before travelling, highlighting the importance of vigilance and caution in the face of potential scams and kidnappings.
