MultiChoice Nigeria has announced that the eleventh season of Big Brother Naija will premiere on July 26, with the winner set to receive a record-breaking grand prize of ₦160 million, the highest since the reality show debuted in 2006.
The organisers unveiled the details during a press briefing on Wednesday, confirming that physical auditions for the new season were conducted from May 22 to 24 in Lagos, Abuja and Enugu.
According to MultiChoice, the auditions were free and open exclusively to applicants aged 21 and above who presented valid means of identification.
The announcement comes months after Opeyemi Ayanwale, popularly known as Imisi, emerged winner of the 2025 edition, defeating 28 other housemates to claim a prize package worth ₦150 million, including ₦80 million in cash and an SUV.
The new season is expected to continue the show’s tradition of showcasing contestants from different backgrounds competing for fame and life-changing rewards.
