The Abia State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for nominating former Abia State governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, for an ambassadorial appointment.
In a statement signed by the state chairman, Amah Abraham, on behalf of the State Working Committee and the wider party leadership, the PDP described the gesture as timely and well earned.
The party said President Tinubu’s choice of Ikpeazu reflects national acknowledgement of the former governor’s record of public service.
