Popular financial commentator and social media personality GehGeh has urged streamer and content creator Peller to apologise to rapper Ycee following their public disagreement over comments about education and online culture in Nigeria.
The exchange began after Ycee criticised what he described as the growing “Peller culture,” arguing that society is moving away from celebrating academic excellence and increasingly rewarding content he considers unintelligent because it attracts views and financial gain.
Responding, Peller rejected the criticism and questioned why musicians complain about content creators despite depending on them for promotion and audience reach. He argued that digital creators now play an important role in expanding the visibility of music.
Reacting to Peller’s comments, GehGeh said the content creator had embarrassed himself publicly and advised him to focus on education rather than relationships, insisting that learning would help him achieve greater success in the streaming industry.
