TikTok personality Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, has spoken about the ordeal he faced after spending a week in detention following his arrest over a car crash on the Lekki–Epe Expressway.
The social media influencer, who was involved in the accident while livestreaming, said the crash was not deliberate.
He described his time in custody as emotionally and physically exhausting, explaining that he found it difficult to eat and to come to terms with what had happened.

Peller also said he was hurt by what he described as the silence of many celebrities he expected would support him, noting that only a few reached out during the period.
“I called on many celebrities to help my life; I will tell you who came and who did not. Nobody cared about me; I looked like a useless boy,” he said.
Despite the disappointment, he thanked his fans for standing by him, saying their support and advocacy played a key role in securing his release.
