Popular streamer iShowSpeed has explained why he is not collaborating with other content creators during his ongoing Africa tour.
The streamer clarified that the primary aim of the tour is to highlight the culture, talent, and everyday life of African communities rather than focus on influencer collaborations.
He said the tour is carefully planned, with every stop scheduled and time-restricted by his team, ensuring he visits specific locations across the continent.
Speed emphasised that many creators seeking collaborations already have platforms of their own, while his tour seeks to give visibility to street performers, local artists, and communities that are rarely seen by the global audience.
The streamer stressed that he will not compromise cultural visits or planned events to accommodate influencers, insisting that the purpose is to showcase Africa’s rich heritage and vibrant street culture.
According to him, the tour is about shining a light on authentic African experiences, not centring content creators.
