Nigerian rapper and activist Folarin Falana, widely known as Falz, has criticised President Bola Tinubu and demanded his resignation following the bandits’ attack on Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Oke Isegun, Eruku, in the Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State.
Falz, in a post on his X handle on Wednesday, accused the President of failing in his fundamental responsibility to protect citizens, describing what he called the government’s lack of decisive action as unacceptable.
The Kwara State Police Command confirmed that the attack took place at about 6 p.m. on November 18. According to police reports, security operatives and local vigilantes confronted the armed group and eventually forced them to retreat.

The attackers were said to have stormed the church during a service, killing at least one worshipper and abducting several others.
In his reaction, Falz expressed anger and despair over the worsening insecurity, questioning how many more Nigerians must die before the government takes meaningful steps to address the crisis.
He wrote, “How many more people have to be kidnapped and murdered in cold blood? How many more lives do you want to waste? How many more futures do you wish to erase with your incompetence and inaction?
“You have consistently shown your unwillingness to protect the lives and property of our people despite pretending to care in the past. RESIGN NOW!”
