A Nigerian medical doctor has shared her bewilderment online after being suddenly ghosted by a man who seemed genuinely interested in her.
The woman recounted that the man drove five hours from another country to England for their first date, paying for everything and bonding over shared interests, hobbies, and future travel plans.
“He even talked about how I would get along with his mum and how excited he was to meet mine,” she said.
They met for a second date, with him again travelling five hours and buying gifts, yet nothing intimate occurred beyond a kiss in the car park. After this, communication abruptly stopped.
“I’ve never heard from this guy since. I’ve been ghosted. I’ve never been more confused in my life,” she lamented.
Her story has sparked online discussions about modern dating, emotional investment, and the frustration of mixed signals.
