Born Saidat Ashabi Balogun but widely known as Omoge Saida, a nickname given by Fuji legend King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall, she is a 55-year-old jeweler based in the United Kingdom.

For years, Omoge Saida maintained a low profile, quietly attending high-society events and glamorous parties.

Her life, however, recently came public when private videos of hers were leaked online, thrusting her into the public eye.

The incident occurred last week during the lavish 90th birthday celebration of Gaming Mogul Sir Adebukunola Adebutu at the Eko Convention Centre. Watching her private moments spread across social media, Saida described the experience as surreal, leaving her overwhelmed with a sense of betrayal and violation.

The leak ignited speculation, with friends and acquaintances debating who might be responsible. While some condemned the act, others questioned her decision to record the videos two years ago.

  2. Omoge Saidat was born and raised on Lagos Island. She attended Mayflower Junior and Senior Schools before enrolling at Lagos State Polytechnic. Her father, Alhaji Chief F. S. Balogun, a respected community leader from Ijebu-Aiyepe, remains her greatest inspiration.

    In 1993, she moved to the United Kingdom to join her long-time partner. By 1994, she had secured her residency, paving the way for global opportunities and travel.

    Saidat is a devoted mother of three daughters—Jadesola, Monisola, and Derinsola—whose initials form the name of her jewellery brand, JAMOND. Though she describes her marriage as her “first and only,” she has not remarried, choosing to focus on her children and career.

    What started as a small venture trading designer items grew into a successful jewellery business. Renowned for bespoke gold designs and exclusive European brands like Marroto Riccardo, Omoge Saidat has built a reputation for luxury and elegance, attracting clients from Lagos to London.

    She advises clients to “buy only what they can afford,” prioritizing financial prudence over extravagance. Her flexible payment options foster loyalty while keeping her business thriving.

    Now in her 50s, Saidat emphasizes peace and resilience, saying, “As you grow older, not everyone will love you.” Her approach to life and business is defined by grace under pressure and focusing on what truly matters.

    Omoge Saidat is a fashion aficionado, favoring luxury brands such as Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Chanel, Hermes, and Valentino. She prefers voile, Filtex, and HKG fabrics, embracing a style philosophy of simplicity accented with bold colours.
