Mabel Makun, the former wife of comedian and actor Ayo Makun, has broken her silence on her prolonged withdrawal from public discussions, saying she has a lot to say but does not know where to begin.
In a message shared on her Instagram story following the burial of late actor Alex Ekubo, Mabel reflected on advice she received from the deceased, whom she described as one of the most caring people she had known.
She revealed that her silence stemmed from uncertainty about how to address issues surrounding her personal life. Bidding the actor farewell, she recalled his encouragement to seek God’s guidance and maintain peace.
Her comments come more than two years after the collapse of her marriage to Ayo Makun, which both parties publicly acknowledged in 2023.
Since then, the former couple have largely kept details of their separation private, despite continued public interest in their relationship and family life.
