A Nigerian man has reportedly left his home after his wife returned from her late sister’s funeral with six nieces, reigniting debates about family responsibilities and marital boundaries.
The children, aged six to twenty, were brought into the couple’s home despite them having no children of their own.
According to a viral post on X (formerly Twitter), the husband expressed frustration over the sudden decision, arguing that he could not cope with six children in the household.
He reportedly told his wife, “I am not marrying again, either she return the kids back to their father or I won’t come back home.”
The incident has sparked online discussions about communication and compromise in relationships.
Social media users urged couples to consult and agree on significant decisions affecting shared spaces, noting that compassion should not compromise a partner’s peace of mind.
