A Nigerian lady has stirred reactions online after recounting how a man’s life allegedly declined after accommodating a homeless friend for what was meant to be a one-week stay.
In a now-viral narration shared on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, the lady explained that the man agreed to host his friend temporarily, but the visit unexpectedly extended into weeks and later months, as he reportedly struggled to ask the guest to leave. According to her, the situation soon took a troubling turn.
“He said a friend called him that he needed a place to stay for one week. He agreed, but one week passed, two weeks passed, and the guy didn’t leave,” she said.
She added that the host’s finances allegedly deteriorated, forcing him to sell belongings, while the guest eventually became his provider.
