Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has reaffirmed his support for President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections, saying his political decision is based on divine direction.
Speaking during an appearance on The Honest Bunch podcast, the actor said God has consistently guided him on political matters and continues to lead him toward supporting Tinubu and the ruling All Progressives Congress.
Edochie stated that public criticism and negative reactions on social media would not change his position because he believes his support is spiritual and personal.
According to him, he has no intention of withdrawing support for the President despite repeated backlash online.
The actor said God “keeps showing” him Tinubu and insisted he would remain loyal to the President’s re-election ambition.
His latest remarks have generated fresh political conversations online as early alignments and endorsements ahead of the 2027 presidential election continue to emerge across Nigeria.
