A major fire outbreak rocked a filling station in the Kara area of Kishi, Irepo Local Government Area of Oyo State, destroying three vehicles and other valuable property.
The vehicles involved were identified as a Volvo truck with registration number AGG Lagos 731 GB, a Golf 3 with registration number KUT 403 AP, and an empty DAF truck bearing number plate GB0 14 AB.

The incident was confirmed in a statement by the Special Adviser to Governor Seyi Makinde on Fire Reform and Chairman of the Fire Services Agency, Moroof Akinwande, who said the agency received an alert from a resident, identified as Mr Yusuf.
He said a team of firefighters led by Assistant Fire Superintendent Akande E. O. was immediately dispatched to the scene to contain the blaze.
