A Federal High Court in Abuja on Friday ordered the Peoples Democratic Party to halt its planned national convention slated for November 15 and 16 in Ibadan, Oyo State, pending the determination of a suit challenging the legality of the exercise.

The organisers said the initiative was introduced in response to increasing international interest in the competition, with ticket bookings rising ahead of the December kick-off.

The free electronic visas will apply to visitors from countries that ordinarily require a visa to enter Morocco.According to a statement published on CAF’s website, the e-visa process will run exclusively through the YALLA mobile application, which also handles the mandatory Fan Identification system.

“Electronic visas to enter Morocco, obtained through the YALLA app, are now free of charge for supporters attending the competition, which runs from 21 December 2025 to 18 January 2026,” the statement read.

CAF explained that the two key documents required for the tournament, a Fan ID and an e-visa, have been integrated into a single digital platform to simplify stadium entry and travel procedures.

“A Fan ID is mandatory for entry to all stadiums and official Fan Areas. Supporters can apply for both the Fan ID and e-visa in one place inside the YALLA app, streamlining travel and stadium access,” the body said.

The organisation added that the application process has been designed for speed and security, giving international and local fans a smoother experience.

It said applicants may download the YALLA app on the App Store or Google Play, or visit the official online portal to complete their forms. Once the Fan ID or e-visa is approved, fans can proceed to purchase match tickets on CAF’s ticketing platform.

CAF noted that the updated system is part of efforts to deliver a seamless tournament as Morocco hosts AFCON for the first time since 1988.

Nine stadiums across six cities will stage the 24-team competition, which is expected to showcase the continent’s top football talents and intense regional rivalries.
