Afrobeats star Davido has firmly denied claims by a teenage girl, Anu Adeleke, who publicly alleged he is her biological father and requested a DNA test to confirm her identity.
The controversy erupted after the girl shared an emotional open letter on Instagram, saying she had suffered years of bullying and psychological distress because of uncertainty surrounding her paternity.
She appealed to the singer to help bring closure by taking a DNA test.
Responding on social media, Davido dismissed the allegation and disclosed that five DNA tests had already been conducted in different hospitals, three selected by him and two by the girl’s mother.
According to the singer, all the results were negative.He described the claim as false and warned that legal action would follow if the matter persisted.
The development has sparked intense debate online, with opinions sharply divided over the handling of the situation.
