TikTok streamer Peller, born Hamzat Habeeb Adelaja, has responded to controversies surrounding an unauthorised visit to the palace of Oba Ewuare II and a N395 million lawsuit.
The Benin Traditional Council criticised his March 6 visit as a breach of protocol, summoning him to explain and apologise.
In a livestream, Peller said he acted on his manager’s instruction and was unaware of any wrongdoing. “I did nothing wrong; my hands are clean,” he said.
Separately, Lagos resident Osarobo Odigie filed a N395 million suit alleging defamation, privacy invasion, and emotional distress linked to a viral video.
Peller, who admitted apologising earlier, said he cannot meet the financial demand and pleaded for understanding, insisting the situation is being exaggerated to ruin him financially.
