The long-running online feud between social media critic Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, and gadget dealer Linus Williams Ifejirika, aka Blord, escalated on Thursday, October 23, 2025, with the release of a new diss track titled “Two Tiffs.”

In the song, VeryDarkMan accuses Blord of flaunting unexplained wealth and takes aim at Nigerian singer Portable, who was previously linked to Blord.

The rivalry traces back to July 2024, when VeryDarkMan publicly accused Blord of involvement in cryptocurrency scams and inflating gadget prices. The allegations led to a brief arrest by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), though Blord was later cleared of wrongdoing.

Since then, both men have clashed repeatedly on social media, trading insults and accusations. Following the release of the diss track, Blord posted a viral video from his office, where uniformed staff welcomed him with cheers, hailing him as “victorious” in the dispute.

In the video, Blord said, “I asked VDM to drop his noodles but he refused. I’ve dropped my pen. I came out unscratched. I lost nothing, but I gained something.”

Meanwhile, the drama also involves singer Portable, whose feud with VeryDarkMan reportedly started after he criticized the critic over political commentary. VeryDarkMan responded with a diss track mocking Portable’s past controversies, including alleged police run-ins. Portable countered with his own track, calling VeryDarkMan a clout chaser and later revealing he turned down a ₦100 million offer to fight him, saying he would only accept ₦1 billion.

The ongoing dispute among VeryDarkMan, Blord, and Portable has become one of Nigeria’s most talked-about social media controversies, showing no signs of slowing down.
