The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has released a step-by-step guide to help candidates retrieve the Serial Number and PIN required to check their 2026 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) results.
In an update shared on its official X account, WAEC directed candidates to visit waec.org and select the “Serial Number and PIN” option at the top of the page.
Candidates are required to choose the appropriate examination year and diet, enter their examination number and the National Identification Number (NIN) used during registration, then provide their email address and phone number to generate a One-Time Password (OTP).
After entering the OTP, candidates can successfully recover their Serial Number and PIN for result checking.
WAEC also informed candidates that they can download their WAEC ID card to their mobile devices through the same process. The update comes as thousands of candidates continue accessing their newly released 2026 WASSCE results nationwide.
