Nigerian singer Davido has publicly criticised National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) Chairman, MC Oluomo, following his opposition to the Osun State Government’s suspension of the union’s operations across motor parks.
The controversy began after Governor Ademola Adeleke halted the collection of levies by the union and directed security agencies to arrest anyone operating in its name across the state.
Reacting during an inauguration, MC Oluomo, represented by his deputy, rejected the decision, insisting that the governor lacked the authority to suspend the union.
Davido, whose uncle is Governor Adeleke, defended the state government and mocked the NURTW chairman over his English-speaking ability.
“MC Oluomo wey no fit compose sentence dey talk. Kudosuu,” the singer wrote.
The latest exchange adds to Davido’s recent political commentary on developments in Osun State, where he has consistently backed his uncle and remained actively involved in political campaigns and election-related issues.
