Nana Otedola has revealed that she was surprised to learn her daughter, actress Temi Otedola, and her husband, singer and entrepreneur Mr Eazi, were expecting their first child shortly after their wedding.
Speaking on the latest episode of the couple’s How Far podcast, Nana said she had expected the newlyweds to spend a few years travelling and enjoying married life before starting a family.
However, Temi reminded her that she and Mr Eazi had already dated for five years before tying the knot, prompting her to reconsider her assumptions.
Nana admitted she had since learnt not to be presumptuous about the couple’s decisions and praised their relationship, saying they complement each other well.
The couple announced in May that they were expecting their first child, around nine months after their private wedding in Reykjavík, Iceland.
Temi and Mr Eazi married in August 2025 after getting engaged in April 2022 following four years of dating.
