Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has revealed that his wife, Chioma Adeleke, manages his finances because he considers himself a reckless spender.
The singer made the disclosure in a viral video that gained traction online after he was seen calling Chioma to transfer $4,000 to his personal assistant, Lati, when he was unable to access his account.
During the call, Davido affectionately asked his wife to complete the transfer, explaining that he could not log in due to service issues before their departure to Nigeria.
Responding to a question from his official streamer, Davreltv, on whether Chioma had taken over managing his money, the award-winning singer answered in the affirmative.
He admitted that his spending habits made the arrangement necessary, describing his wife as his “life coordinator.”
