The online buzz surrounding Nollywood stars Toyin Abraham and Funke Akindele has intensified after Abraham reportedly unfollowed Akindele on Instagram following a viral video from a Lagos movie premiere.
The incident occurred at the premiere of Iyabo Ojo’s film, The Return of Arinzo, held on March 29, 2026, at Balmoral Hall, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island.
In the widely shared clip, Abraham approached Akindele in an apparent attempt to greet her, but the latter appeared to look away and did not reciprocate the gesture, triggering widespread reactions online.
