A young woman has shared a dramatic account of her aunt’s collapsing marriage in Abuja, revealing how business demands allegedly led to a major family crisis.
According to the niece, her aunt runs a thriving frozen food business based in Ilorin, which forced her to spend most of her time away from her husband in Abuja.
Despite repeated complaints from the husband about her absence, she reportedly continued prioritising her business and frequent travels.
The niece said the situation escalated when the husband eventually took another wife after “enduring for too long.”
She added that the new wife, a federal government worker, is already gaining acceptance within the family, including the children of the first wife.
The aunt is now said to be distressed and attempting to stop the marriage arrangement, while tensions rise within the household over loyalty, presence, and shifting family dynamics that are now unfolding publicly.
