Nollywood actress Damilola Adegbite has urged Nigerians to normalise sharing positive stories about healthy relationships and marriages, saying she still believes lasting love exists despite widespread accounts of heartbreak and betrayal.
In a video posted on her Instagram page, the actress said the public is constantly exposed to negative relationship experiences, making it easy to lose faith in genuine love.
She encouraged people whose partners have positively transformed their lives behind closed doors to speak up and inspire others with stories of peace, growth and purpose.
According to her, relationships that thrive away from public attention deserve as much recognition as troubled unions.
Adegbite questioned whether she was alone in believing enduring love remains possible and called on others to share their experiences.
