Billionaire businessman Razaq Okoya has revealed his plans to groom his younger children for the future, ensuring they are prepared to take over the family empire.
Speaking on Arise TV, the 79-year-old explained that he is being intentional about instilling discipline, focus, and strong values, beyond simply passing on wealth.“
I am holding these younger ones close so they don’t go astray like the older ones. At 79, I have to pass it on to them,” he said.
Okoya highlighted that experience, honesty, determination, and punctuality are essential lessons for his heirs.
He disclosed that one of his daughters studying in Europe is regularly brought home to understand the Nigerian business landscape.
Okoya also credited his wife, Shade, for consolidating the empire, noting her dedication to managing operations from early morning to evening.
He affirmed that the business will remain a family enterprise.
